Classic Doctor Who project

7th Jun. 2020 | 12:42 am

Wow, this is going to be some project.

The system here is stolen from x_los: italics for partly-watched, bold for fully completed. And yes, I do fail at One, Two, Six and Seven. But I am getting better!

* and ** stand respectively for partial and complete misplacement and/or burnination of story.

A wild stargazy appeared!

13th Feb. 2011 | 11:06 pm

So, since I've last been here it's been Christmas, I've done my exams, and my mother has been in and out of hospital. (It was an investigative operation and we haven't had the results back yet, but she's feeling perfectly fine at the moment, so it's going well!) I've also been on national television for the second time! And it's the first time that really counts, seeing as the first time was when I was playing at that Aviva gig and they only cut to me for two seconds. This time our chapel choir sang live in the studio for Mass on Sunday, which was excellent fun.

In other news that occurs to me just now, I am suddenly fabulously wealthy! :D I've been paid for three sets of 10 piano lessons, and also for 10 lessons last term because that cheque bounced, AND I've got my scholar money from chapel.

What should I buy?

Just putting this here where I can get at it

Some glorious purple prose as only the men of the 19th century could write it, from an early Beethoven review.

I really haven't posted in a while; real life has been getting in the way to a huge degree. Reading Week just gone, and most of my essays and assignments handed in for now *coughonestilltogocough*. Other than that, all is going pretty well!

I've acquired two new fandoms since I was last here: Star Trek (TOS, but other series by extension) and Boston Legal. Not that these are connected in any way. ¬¬ As is the way with new fandoms, they've been taking up a fair bit of my time, what with watching them all and educating oneself on fanon and so forth. Particularly with TOS, since it's been going such a long time and has had a rather...er, active fanbase for most of that time.

Not much to say, really; this is more of a checking back in sort of post than anything. More to follow!

Logopolis picspam - episode 2

7th Jan. 2010 | 11:54 pm

After a messy start, this story finally begins to get off the ground in its second episode, and the scale on which it does so more than makes up for its shaky beginnings. As a result of this, I ended up taking almost twice as many screencaps this time round, so please bear with me! :)
